For a Welsh Government that fights poverty

According to the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, 22% of people in Wales live in poverty including 200,000 children.

Urgent action is needed to tackle low pay, unemployment and poverty.

Despite the limited powers of the Welsh Government, a number of policies can be implemented and fought for.

We stand for:

Free school meals for all school-aged children in Wales.
A minimum wage of £15 an hour with no exemptions.
Ban compulsory zero hour contracts and casualisation of employment.
Ban the use of bailiffs for council tax debt collection.
